Gardening Tip of the Week *PLUS* An Unadvertised Bonus Report
It’s Gwynne Curry here from ContainerGardenOnline.com with another weekly gardening tip.
Hope you are having a great week and that you’re having perfect gardening weather!
Let’s talk a little about making your harvest go the extra mile.
Root cellaring isn’t just for folks who have cellars! You can keep your harvest long after picking with just a little preparation. One of the keys is to use food grade containers and bags so no adverse chemicals actually harm the harvest. And make sure you keep fruits and veggies separate.
Some of the foods that do well in the root cellar include apples, pears, carrots, celery, onions, pumpkins, squash, turnips, potatoes and beets.
Now’s the time to plan to enjoy your harvest through the winter months!
